German Shepherd Rules

Barbara Russell

Just so you know that it’s not all about cats around here, I thought I would put up this beautiful Barabara Russell canvas.  Look at that facee!

Now, I don’t know who invented these, but I have a fridge magnet that lists the famous dog property laws, to which I added one.

Dog Property Laws

  1. If I like it, it’s mine.
  2. If it’s in my mouth, it’s mine.
  3. If I can take it from you, it’s mine.
  4. If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.
  5. If it’s mine, it must never be yours.
  6. If I’m chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
  7. If it just looks like mine, it’s mine.
  8. If I saw it first, it’s mine.
  9. If you are playing with something and put it down, it’s mine.
  10. If you hide it, it’s still mine.
  11. If it used to be yours, get over it.
  12. If it’s broken, it’s yours.

Do stitchers dream of electric sheep?

Whimsy, whimsy.

I must say that I’m rather fond of the animated sheep on Ewe and Eye needlepoint.

Not sure if the bleating ewe has found a farm yet in San Francisco, but I must report that my own UK sheep on Farmville is hiding somewhere on my English countryside farm. Now that I have this blog, I fear I am not tending to the farm as addictively as I should. I’ll send my prized German Shepherd to look for him.

If you see my lost little guy, do let me know.
